ANNA BLOCK

Anna Block is a contemporary film photographer, based in Moscow, Russia. She graduated with M.A. in Photography from Jan Evangelista Purkine University in Czech Republic. In her art, she creates her very own fragile reality where she explores the hidden nature of sensitive communication between the common objects and human bodies at its very edge.

In 2008 Anna Block was a finalist of the Silver Camera contest held by Moscow House of Photography Museum. Her photographs are held in permanent collections of the State Russian Museum in Saint Petersburg, Russia, and Centro de Fotografia Isla de Tenerife in Santa Cruz, Spain, as well as in private collections in Germany, France, Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland, Sweden, Austria, USA, Russia, and Ukraine.
