Natalia Danner was born in Moscow in 1989. She studied at British Higher School of Art and Design where she graduated with BA (Hons) from the Fine Art faculty in 2015. Defining the city as a main influence the artist investigates the ambiguity and social aspects of the contemporary urban environment. Natalia's works are based on the fascination that there is always a human aspect that is clashing and overlapping with the cold and indifferent structure of the architectural building. This combination brings to life lyrical metaphors of the personal urban experience that the artist conveys through photographs and performances. Natalia takes a great interest in a way of working within poetic areas of ephemerality and its possible representation. She took part in a number of group exhibitions in Moscow and currently lives and works in Munich, Germany.
